This is a massive work in progress! Come back later I might have more but who knows.
We, the star council have heard your cries, do not fear for we see the problem. You do not understand us, our motives, our existance, and more importantly our power. The power of the stars is nigh incomprehensible to the living. But do not fear, the dead cannot kill the living.
sooo... Like how I've changed the clan names Starclan has also been changed. It is now reffered to as the Stars or Silverpelt(why did they not use Silverpelt that much it's so good). Also the Stars might be a bit... evil or rather antagonistic.
Why are they evil(?)
Evil might not be a good word. Antagonistic is better but also does not describe the full extent of what I want to do. Y'see I want misinterpreted signs to be a focal point of Deep Puddles. Lochspring was sent several signs to avoid the water while she was pregnant and she ignored them, leading to her miscarrige. She interprets this as the Stars telling her that she was going to lose her child and that they wanted her to become a nymph, nymphs can't have children until they've fully trained an apprentice. She had not fully trained her apprentice at this point in time.
But cats misinterpreting signs doesn't make them evil I hear you cry, well they didn't exactly make the signs clear when they could have. In my version the Stars have a lot of pull and their rules are a lot looser than you'd think. For example they can and do give one of the rank founders (the cats who, in story make the unique ranks, with the exception of siren, as they are today) very clear signs and messages. However, they also give Ripplewatcher false signs, like consistently to the point that it is a joke amongst his guildmates that he should've 'went with his mother and become a Star Reader'. The Stars actively and intentionally send false signs, they can send clear signs and messages but choose not to. It was not their fault Lochspring miscarried, but they did not have to be vauge in their messaging. This Is the point of contension between the dead and the living.
We, the STAR COUNCIL do not wish to hear you spout lies about us, we have rules we must follow. We do not give awnsers out just like that. We must let the living make those choices and find the awnser themselves.
